On Tuesday 21 March 2024, the Centre for Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality of Epirus Region (EpirusXRCenter) welcomed students and teachers of the Music High School of Arta. The purpose of the visit was to introduce the students to the possibilities and applications of XR (Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality) technology in the fields of education, culture and entertainment.
During the visit, the students:
– Were given a guided tour of the premises of the EpirusXRCenter and were informed about its equipment and infrastructure.
They attended presentations on XR technologies and their applications in various sectors.
– They experienced an exciting virtual reality experience, navigating through a 3D musical environment.
– They experimented with augmented reality applications, interacting with digital objects in real time.
The visit concluded with a lively discussion, where students shared their impressions and expressed their enthusiasm for the potential of XR technology.
