A unique event focusing on technology, education and awareness will take place on Wednesday 14 May in Ioannina, at the 2nd Evening School, bringing together pupils, students, teachers, institutions and the general public in an interactive and educational afternoon.
The action is implemented in collaboration with the 2nd Evening School of Ioannina, the Human Computer Interaction Laboratory (HCILAB) of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina (DIT|UOI), the Center of Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality Region of Epirus (EpirusXRCenter), the IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta, and the humanitarian organization Kids Save Lives, highlighting the power of collaboration and community.
The public will have the opportunity to tour thematic, interactive stations with activities such as:
At the same time, competitive games of knowledge and technical skills, such as "CPR Hero" and "Match the Step", will offer motivation for participation and fun, while creative booths such as "Talk to the Camera" and "VR Selfie Spot" will engage the public in an experiential and personal way.
The event aims to strengthen the connection between technology and everyday life, to promote the importance of immediate intervention in emergencies and to inspire the new generation through experience, collaboration and imagination.
Participation is free and open to all.
