Visit of the 2nd Gymnasium of Arta to the Epirus XR Center

On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the Epirus XR Center welcomed the 2nd Gymnasium of Arta as part of an educational visit aimed at familiarizing students with modern immersive technologies.

Seventy students and four teachers participated in the visit, where they had the opportunity to learn about the capabilities of Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality, as well as innovative human-computer interaction systems.

The event began with an impressive welcome, which included a tour of the department's facilities using a drone, offering a unique first-hand experience with the technology. This was followed by a presentation in the CAVE, where students watched immersive scenarios in high-resolution, interactive environments.

During the visit, students were introduced to VR and AR applications, eye tracking systems, and other advanced technologies used in education, research, and industry. The experiential approach enhanced the students' interest and participation, highlighting the prospects opened up by the use of immersive technologies in the learning process.

The Epirus XR Center continues to be an open hub of knowledge and innovation, strengthening the link between education and technology and offering students valuable experiences that bridge the gap between school and the future.
