Visit of EPAL Karpenisiou

On Monday 21 February 2024, the Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality Center of Epirus Region (KEEPI) welcomed with great pleasure the students of Karpenisi High School in a visit that proved to be highly educational.

The students had the opportunity to explore the world of virtual reality technology through an extensive presentation in the CAVE (Virtual Reality Cell) area. Teachers and researchers from the Centre led the students on a journey that included immersive virtual experiences and experiments, allowing them to discover the potential and applications of this technology in various fields.

In addition, students had the opportunity to explore the Centre’s equipment and understand how augmented reality and mixed reality combined with haptic feedback and robotics can be applied to practical situations and applications.

The visit was a unique opportunity for the students to enrich their knowledge and be inspired by the possibilities offered by virtual, augmented and mixed reality technology.
