On May 11, 2022, part of Filothei High School visited the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina, based in Arta.
The school’s second grade class, with their accompanying teachers, visited the Human Computer Interaction Laboratory (HCI Lab).
The students were carefully briefed on the equipment of the lab, which included. While then they tested application simulations using EEG Headset – Muse as well as virtual reality scenarios using Oculus Quest 2 devices.
In both cases, teachers and students were very enthusiastic.
Finally, an update was given on the Epirus XR Center, which is expected to be finalized and operational in a few months.
