Participation of the Members of the Epirus XR Center at the 7th SEEDA-CECNSM CONFERENCE

The SEEDA-CECNSM 2022 International Conference in Ioannina
23 – 25 September at the Epirus Technology Park, with the participation of experts from industry and academia
For three days, the city of Ioannina will be at the centre of scientific and technological interest, hosting an important international hybrid conference.
The reason is the Conference on Automation Design, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks and Social Networking – Southeast Europe (SEEDA-CECNSM 2022), which is co-organized by the Departments: Computer Science and Telecommunications, Accounting and Finance of the University of Ioannina and the Departments of: Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Western Macedonia.
The 7th edition will take place from 23 to 25 September 2022 at the Technological Park of Epirus, in collaboration with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a leading organization that organizes the largest international conferences.
This is the second consecutive year that Epirus has been chosen to host the conference (the 6th edition was held in 2021 in Preveza), demonstrating the dynamics that are developing in our region in the field of promoting new technologies.

Moreover, the organizers aim to promote research and knowledge and support the local community, which is taking important steps in transforming Northwest Greece into a hub of regional development.
The general theme of the conference wishes to give an insight into the unique world that stems from the interaction between the fields of Computer Engineering, Networks and Automation.
Experts from industry and academia from Greece and abroad have been invited to travel to Ioannina and participate in the Conference in order to exchange ideas, innovations and present the results of current research in the most advanced areas mentioned above.
In particular, two leading speakers will be invited to the conference: Loukas Astrakas, Associate Professor of Medical Physics at the University of Ioannina, who will speak about “Man versus Artificial Intelligence in Radiology” and Panagiotis Sarigiannidis, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of the West Macedonia, who will make a presentation on: “Next generation Internet of Things: Requirements, Applications and Examples”.
The Conference will host workshops, special sessions, lectures and more than 90 presentations of scientific papers from all over the world.
The thematic sections of the conference will report on the latest developments in various fields of technology such as: Essential Technologies in Education, e-Health Technologies and Applications, Embedded Systems and Applications, Human Computer Interaction, Biomedical Technology, 4th Industrial Revolution etc.
It is worth noting that the SEEDA-CECNSM 2022 proceedings will be held in person, with simultaneous online viewing and monitoring.
The official language of the conference is English.
