Workshop Model Centre for Immersed Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality of the Region of Epirus - CEEPI

Workshop in the framework of the project: Model Centre for Immersed Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality of the Region of Epirus - KEEPI

Το Model Centre for Immersive Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality of the Region of Epirus (KEEPI) organizes Workshop, in which the actions and the modern space created at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina in Arta will be presented.

This is a research project of the action "Strengthening Research and Innovation Infrastructures" and Operational Programme "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation"under the ESPA 2014-2020, co-financed by Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund).

The goal of KEEPI is to promote research, learning and teaching, as well as the democratization and use of technologies in interdisciplinary and cultural fields. In this flexible multi-purpose space, an integrated laboratory facility has been created, accompanied by a set of support services and expertise. Here, research is harmonized with practice, learning becomes a creative process and technologies serve culture and society.

In the workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore the space of the KEEPI, discuss with researchers and educators working at the centre, and exchange ideas and views on the future of education and research in the field of immersive virtual, augmented and mixed reality.

The conference will take place on Tuesday, 31 October 2023 in the Event Hall of the Arta Branch Library (University campus - Kostakioi, Arta, 1st floor). Starting time: 11:00 am.

Pre-registration is required via the following link: https://www.e-myrtaly.gr/gr/keepi2023

The conference is organized by the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications, University of Ioannina.
