The Centre for Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality of Epirus (XRCENTER) was pleased to welcome the 1st Model High School of Preveza in a special visit on Friday 26 January 2024. This visit was a unique opportunity for the students to get acquainted with the innovative technologies and applications developed within the framework of the XRCENTER.
During their visit, the students had the opportunity to attend an exciting presentation of XRCENTER in the CAVE (Virtual Reality Cell) area, where they explored the world of Mixed Reality. From virtual reality (VR) applications to augmented reality (AR) applications and mixed reality (MR) experiences, students experienced a unique experience that stretched the boundaries of their imagination.
In addition, students had the opportunity to experience haptic feedback and interact with a robotic arm while exploring the possibilities and applications of technology in the field of robotics.
XRCENTER is dedicated to promoting technological innovation and education in the areas of virtual, augmented and mixed reality. The visit of the 1st Model High School of Preveza was an important opportunity to inspire and encourage young people to explore the exciting world of technology and innovation.
